I think that a person’s uniqueness comes from a mix of personality, life experience, traits, and perspectives.
A person’s personality makes them unique in the sense that they react to different situations with optimism or pessimism, introversion or extroversion, their emotional depth and humor style, etc. All of these combined make a person their true, unique self.
The life that a person has led greatly influences their outlook on life. The challenges and hardships faced, the location, and the geographic area in which a person grew up. The relationships had, the successes and failures, all of these shape a person.
The family history, the traits, and perspectives that have been passed down through the generations. The culture and background. The compassion and empathy. Heritage, community, traditions, all of these shape every person into the unique soul that they are.
These should be celebrated, these differences and unique personas. Celebrated by a campfire with a freshly cooked marshmallow squished between two graham crackers and a piece of chocolate. 🙂
