I think the biggest adaptation post-pandemic is the ability to work anywhere now. The pandemic forced everyone to rethink the office setting and develop new and interesting ways to work remotely. Thinking back on that time seems like lifetimes ago. Drive-thru swabs, losing family members, isolation, fear, all of the things. It’s easy to think about all of the challenging times, but I would like to focus on the positive.
The pandemic forced me to get outside and hike and walk a lot more. I rescued a dog and started exploring new areas. We would leave for hours at a time and see how far we could walk before turning back. We became explorers of the suburbs. The adaptations post-pandemic are the continued hikes and walks with my dog. His name is Vincent. He is the best.
