Here at the P.L.F.C, we are huge animal fans. I have been working on this website and blog to try and generate interest in this campground/working farm idea I have been marinating in my brain for a few years now. This campground dream that I have has a few different levels and stages, if you will. One of the big “open your mind and let it run wild” dreams that I have is running a working farm on the campground land as well. This working farm would include goats, mini-donkeys, chickens, rabbits, ducks, maybe a pig or two, and possibly some cows down the road. I have a wild offshoot dream to run an animal sanctuary of sorts, and this working farm could definitely scratch that itch.
I’ve had a number of different pets in the past, from dogs and cats, lizards, gerbils and hamsters, chickens, ducks, fish, etc. I love my cats and dogs that I’ve had. They are, and have been, such good pets and friends. I miss not having a cat currently, and every time I go to a pet store that has an adoption space, I find myself wondering what it would take to just adopt ALL of the cats. ALL OF THEM! Anyone else have those crazy ideas?? The farm and campground are definitely going to need a few dogs and cats running around.
