One word that describes me well is: Curious. I’ve always wanted to know how things work, what different music sounds like, what different foods taste like, what it feels like to create different types of art, etc. Lately, I have been learning about how to build tiny homes and container homes, how to sew new things, how to build bathhouses and campground essentials.
With food, I’ve always been curious about different foods from regions all over the world. I enjoy trying new foods to eat, and trying new recipes in the kitchen as well. I have tried a few things from the British bake show, and it was such a fun experience. Converting measurements, trying to understand how the competitors get the recipes done in the time frame, trying to make it look half as pretty as they do. Tons of fun.
I’ve always been curious about music, and my mind was really expanded when I was a DJ at a community run radio station in the Colorado mountains. I was a volunteer DJ there for 5 years, and was turned on to so many bands I had never heard before. I fell in love with the Grateful Dead, tons of obscure indie rock, and reggae. I love the continuing exploration of bands and new music. Do you have any bands that I should be listening to? Let me know!
With art, I have always been a dabbler, curious about different mediums and how artists achieve the art they create. Lately I have been oil painting, and sewing on my sewing machine. I got into sewing over the winter pretty heavily again, and it has been a fun new medium to create art with. I have tried to not get frustrated and quit when there have been challenges, but instead push through, watch videos, learn where my mistakes are and how to push through them.

I think curiosity, the good and safe kind, is growth. You can’t go anywhere or learn anything without some amount of curiosity (or passion, I guess)
Looks awesome!
Thank you!
