I saw this prompt this morning as I was having my first cup of coffee and looking out at the neighborhood. I’ve been thinking about a good answer to this since then, and now a few hours later, I still am not quite sure what my response is.
My first thought is about a skill that I wish I had: I wish that I could play the guitar. I play a mean air guitar, but have never sat down with an actual guitar and learned how to play. It’s never too late to start something new, so one of these days, I’ll grab a guitar and try to learn. I have a friend who has played since high school, and can play the guitar by ear. He’s pretty amazing at it, definitely makes me jealous of his natural talent. I was lucky enough to get to hang out with him and some other close friends back in Colorado last October for a wedding party for one of our best friends. What a party. Such a good time. Another skill I wish that I had would be teleportation…I would love to see everyone more, and to travel wayyyyy more. I’m still practicing the teleporting. I’ll keep you updated.
