Hello out there in virtual land! This weekend was a great one. Went fishing by myself Friday evening on a creek close to my house. Floated down this creek with my paddleboard and fly fishing setup. It was beautiful and challenging! Trying to keep up with navigating a paddleboard down a creek while trying to keep up with a fly fishing rod and line and all of that can be challenging! I caught a small little bluegill and had a wonderful time. I floated yesterday with a friend and his daughter and my girls, and the water was crazy warm, and we had an amazing time. We got out in the middle of the lake and jumped off the boards and swam and relaxed and just felt wonderful.
Got back into a sewing project I had been working on, and it was fun to work on it some more. I’ve been trying to lean into sewing more lately, and it has been fun learning how to create some new things. I have been doing these drawstring bags and ransom-style words…here are some examples:

Watching the World Cup so much this year has made me want to travel to Spain and Portugal and Morocco in four years for the next Cup. My younger brother used to live in Portugal and had great things to say about it. Four year travel plan!
