The End of August.
Happy Monday and happy end of August. What a month! Started off strong with a visit from my Dad and a Noah Kahan concert. Caught some huge pike in the middle of the month as well as some really nice bass. The middle of the month saw me pass my CAPM exam, which I am still super proud of myself for doing! Finished off the month with the Minnesota State Fair and the kids going back to school.
During this month I have created some fun things with my sewing machine. The featured one is this little treasure bag that I created with some merch from Noah Kahan. The yellow ribbon was the wristband that was provided at the concert for the wrist-light thing. I created this bag listening to his music, and feeling all of the feels. This bag can contain your treasures, your medicines, your sticks, your binoculars and bird book, or whatever you like. I made belt loops and wore it to the fair. I am going to make a bunch of these, as I have 3 additional patches from him to put on new bags. I sewed in magnets for the closure, but am now working on a second version that has some clasp closures.
I’ll keep ya posted with new sewing and fishing pics and words. I’m still super passionate about creatig campgrounds, just a little lost at the moment about what the next steps are. Looking for creative and new ways to partner with folks and see what the future holds. Thank you for being here.
