Greetings all. It’s been a few minutes. Sometimes life seems to grab hold of you and steer you off in different directions. I have been spending my energy trying to get the most out of the remaining light of the day. These days are getting shorter, and there’s been a chill in the air. Sleeping with the windows open is a gamble. I took myself fishing on Monday, and it was almost 80 degrees out! I hit a new river and was rewarded with one of the prettiest Rainbow Trout I have ever caught. It was the perfect cast and float, the perfect fight and release. Everything about it was magical.
I have also been focusing my time and money on buying a house. It’s a little fixer-upper, but it will be a good thing for the next few years. Something that I can fix up and get back some equity and hopefully pivot that into a campground. That sounds like a good plan to me!
I’ve been doing all of the summer things lately…went to some concerts, the ren fest, the state fair, hiking, fishing and camping..all of the good summer things. I hope this message finds you well, and know that I continue to dream about better places for all. Spaces that we can all gather together and be peaceful and happy in ourselves.
