Good morning and happy Monday to everyone out there in space. This weekend was full of outdoor adventures, fishing, hiking, and exploring new places. The weather was fantastic, and it was so nice to be outside enjoying it all. Lots of World Cup watching. Lots of cheering for everyone, and googling with my daughter where all of these countries are geographically and some fun facts about them. That’s how we make our decision on who to root for…we look at the map, read some tidbits about the country on Wikipedia..and then decide…lol. Sometimes the color or design of their jersey sways the decision.
I picked up my packet for the vendor side of the Twin Cities Pride Festival last weekend, and realized that there is no turning back! It is happening. The dream is gaining momentum, and the ball is about to start rolling down that hill. Along the way, we are picking up momentum, finding individuals who want to help us create beautiful outdoor spaces, friends who want to camp and hike and fish with us, and people who want to love and support others. I am terrified and excited and all of the feelings all at once. It’s going to be great. 12 days to go!

Where are you from to do all this? I lived in Colorado for years and my childhood was surrounded in hiking, fishing, camping…better than Disneyland if you ask me.
I grew up in the Denver suburbs and now live outside of Minneapolis. I lived in Crested Butte for a few years and loved it up there. Traded the mountains for the lakes.
Nice. I was in Fort Collin’s for school and then moved to Colorado Springs. I traded for The Flint Hills…not by choice.
